Meet Dr. Beezley
Dr. Jon T. Beezley is a Fort Worth, TX doctor of osteopathic medicine with a focus in emergency medicine. He brings 20 years of experience and expertise to UUC and has worked at several local hospitals throughout the DFW–Fort Worth metroplex. He is also the Chairman of the Board of Directors of iCare Emergency Center and Urgent Care, as well as the Medical Director of two local Target/CVS Minute Clinics. Dr. Beezley has a diverse background in emergency care as he has worked with various motorsports such as NASCAR, IRL, IHRA, and Global Rally Cross as a leading doctor on the medical support team.
Skills and Specialties
As a board-certified emergency physician, Dr. Beezley is adept in performing a wide variety of medical procedures and treatments that pertain to emergency care. Such procedures include ECG testing, immunizations, DOT physicals, and metabolic panels. He is also highly skilled at treating on-the-job injuries and sports-related injuries such as concussions, broken bones, and deep gashes. In addition, he treats complex medical conditions including pregnancy emergencies, chest pain, dehydration, upper respiratory issues, abdominal pain, and more.
Education and Training
Dr. Beezley earned his undergraduate degree at Baylor University in Waco, TX and from there continued his education at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth. Upon receiving his doctorate degree, he went on to serve his medical internship in emergency medicine at SUMMA Health System in Akron, OH. Dr. Beezley also completed his residency at SUMMA Health System and later moved back to Texas where he now serves at the University Urgent Care center in Fort Worth. To better advance his expertise, Dr. Beezley obtained further medical training to acquire certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
